Ophelia by S.M. Namkoong Review

Mood: There are some books where you only see what the author wants you to see, and everything else is left in the dark. This book falls into that category. The author leads us through a naive main character, slowly bringing certain elements into the spotlight to make readers aware, while leaving the rest shrouded in mystery. While reading, I found myself completely engrossed in Ophelia and the mystery surrounding her.

Mood: This mythological book, with its gentle ink strokes spread across 335 pages, touched my heart and left me misty-eyed. There are not many books I’ve come across that compel me to savour them — to slow down, feel the weight of each word on my tongue, and let them settle deep within.

Mood : I could not contain my excitement when I received the ARC of this book. I loved the first book in this series and was eagerly waiting for this one. This is my sixth book by the author, and I have loved each and every one of them. I particularly love her writing, as it paints a very clear picture in my mind and immerses me in the scene.

Mood: Have you ever picked up a book when you were in a reading slump and been so absorbed in it that you finished it in one sitting? Well, in this book, that's what happened to me. And I kind of anticipated it. I've now read five books by the author, and I've adored each and every one of them.
